The project series “Yalla!” wants to foster cultural exchange between German and Sudanese youth cultures & arts and furthermore establish a forum to give young people the chance to express themselves through artistic and creative activities. Sudan is mostly represented negatively in the international media which only focuses on conflict zones. “Yalla!” aims to change the representation of Sudan in the media through a vivid cooperation and the promotion of local cultural scenes.
